About us
The Haematology Clinical Trials Consortium (HCTC) is a team of haematology professionals operating in partnership with South Eastern Private Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
Utilising the brand new, state of the art facilities at Southern Eastern Private Hospital we have the infrastructure to perform both first-inhuman and first-in-patient studies, as well as later phase studies, across a wide range of therapeutic disciplines, including oncology and haematology.
HCTC fosters collaboration with scientists and clinical researchers as well as the global pharmaceutical industry to improve health globally.

Patient Centric
- We educate and inform our community on the importance of clinical trials and access to advanced therapies.
- We acknowledge clinical trial participants in the final publication of clinical trial results.
- We inform participants with a summary of the clinical trial results to inform them of their participation and outcomes of the research study.
- We ensure no ‘out of pocket’ for the costs involved in attending clinical trial visits.
- We collect appropriate consent to keep the treating/referring physician and family informed of progress.
- We regularly encourage feedback from our trial participants in the form of surveys to measure and improve our service.
